Home Preparation Guide
In order to capture the very best version of your home, please do the following before your photographer arrives for your shoot
1 Turn all light fixtures ON
This includes lamps, under counter lights, and overhead fan lights
2 Turn all ceiling fans OFF
The lights can stay on, but we want those fan blades standing still
3 Remove Clutter and Tidy Up
Remember that less is more! Removing things like unnecessary countertop appliances, personal items, paper clutter, family photos, laundry; and organizing spaces such as bookshelves, closets, and entryways provides a neat and clean setup
4 Keep Window Fixtures OPEN
Pull back and arrange curtains, and open blinds to a FLAT position to let in the most light
5 Keep Toilet Seats CLOSED
This helps to keep bathrooms streamlined and consistent
6 Remove Vehicles from Driveway
Or park them inside your garage
Your efforts are much appreciated!
Also, in addition to now having your home "Photo-Ready", your home should also now be "Show-Ready"!
Who doesn't like conveniently finishing two tasks at once?
